Creative Business Design-Hong Kong August 2013

The aim of this course is to develop familiarity with tools that integrate creative approaches to entrepreneurship including design thinking, lean start-up, and effectual entrepreneurship.

The course starts from the premise that business is fundamentally a creative undertaking and helps students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset as a creative habit. Through a series of progressive exercises, participants will gain experience in applying these tools to iteratively design a business venture.

Key Stages include:

  • Customer discovery and idea generation;
  • Prototyping and validating the value proposition;
  • Value mapping and strategic business model design;
  • Initial implementation roadmap
